Interlock was born from frustration. As partners working across finance, technology, and data operations, we watched the same story play out over and over: businesses trying to exchange data with their partners through emailed spreadsheets, broken APIs, and manual processes that consumed entire teams.
We asked a simple question: why is it so hard for two businesses to share data reliably? The tools existed to move data internally — ETL platforms, API gateways, data warehouses. But nothing existed to govern the data exchange between companies. No contracts. No AI to bridge the schema gaps. No audit trail.
